Yogi Adityanath lifted the lockdown in Uttar Pradesh for the holy Rakhibandhan festival


Bengali Hunt Desk: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed that Rakhi and sweet shops remain open on Sundays in view of the holy Rakhibandhan festival. Markets were ordered to be closed on Saturdays and Sundays every week as per the special transparency and sanitation campaign in Uttar Pradesh to curb the outbreak of corona and curb the infection.

A Yogi Sarkar spokesperson said the Chief Minister (Yogi Adityanath) has directed the State Road Transport Corporation of Uttar Pradesh to provide free bus ride to all classes of buses at the Rakhibandhan festival this year as in the past three years. According to the directive, all women in the state will not be charged 24 hours a day from midnight on August 2 to 12 midnight on August 3.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the police to patrol the Rakhibandhan festival. The Chief Minister said that all the protocols of Corona should be observed in the Rakhibandhan festival as well. No public event should be held. Everyone should organize the event in their own home. Earlier, the Yogi government had issued Unlock-3 rules, allowing Rakhi shops to be open from 9am to 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays, keeping in mind the Rakhibandhan and Goat Eid from August 1st to August 3rd.
