BanglaHunt Desk: India has had a number of problems with its neighbor Nepal for several months. Nepal is not shying away from opposing India while supporting China. The dispute began with the publication of a map of Nepal on the three disputed areas.
Kalapani, Lipulekh and Limpiyadhura were included in the map of India through the eighth edition in November 2019. But as soon as Nepal included these three regions in its map, the conflict began.
India did not respond to the call for talks
On Friday, Nepal's Foreign Minister Pradeep Gyawali said, “Despite repeated calls to India to resolve the border dispute in the region, India has not participated in the talks.” India did not respond to a call for an official date for diplomatic talks.
We, time and again asked our Indian friends to formally start the diplomatic negotiation to settle these problems. We proposed the possible dates as well but our proposal was not responded timely: Nepal Foreign Affairs Minister Pradeep Gyawali https://t.co/kTxkBDtbH0

Nepal's Foreign Minister Pradeep Gawali raised the issue of former India-China friendship to stifle the growing ties between Nepal and China. “After the Wuhan summit, India became a friend of China, but the situation in the Galvan Valley was tense again,” he said. But we are trying to solve that problem. “
However, most people in Nepal have not yet taken a good look at the dispute with India. Calling Kalapani, Lipulekh and Limpiyadhura part of Nepal is still not accepted by many.
