380 trains will make 6400 trips

This time Indian Railways has announced to run more summer special trains on summer vacations than last year. According to the information received from the Ministry of Railways, this time 380 summer special trains are running, which will make 6369 trips. Last year, a total of 348 summer special trains were run by the Railways, out of which 4600 trips were made in 3 to 4 months. According to railway officials, this time keeping in mind the convenience of railway passengers, the number of trains and trips has been increased.

There may be an increase in rounds

According to Delhi’s CPRO Deepak Kumar, keeping in mind the availability and demand of seats in trains, arrangements are made to run them in short periods as well. This time, trains are being run for one day in many zones on a short notice of only two days. This time a total of 1770 trips are scheduled. Their number may increase. According to Virendra Kumar, CPRO of Hajipur zone, a one-day train was run between Katihar and Delhi in the past. Now it has been decided to run a train between Patna Howrah, this train will run every week on Sunday. One way special train has been run between Barauna to Anand Vihar which started on 21st May and reached Anand Vihar on 22nd.

Katihar to Amritsar special train

According to Pankaj Kumar Singh, CPRO of Gorakhpur zone, a train special is being run from Punjab to Katihar in Bihar. This train has started from Katihar Amritsar from 20th May which will run till 1st July. It will leave every Saturday from Katihar while it will run from Amritsar on Monday. Its route will reach Jalandhar via Muzaffarpur, Narkatiaganj, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Kanpur, Delhi, Ambala, Ludhiana and finally reach Amritsar. 16 economy class coaches, one luggage and one AC 3 coach have also been installed in this train. Passengers have been suggested by railway officials that they can travel in special trains instead of regular trains, so that they can enjoy the journey comfortably.
