Bangla Hunt Desk: In Ladakh, India is working to strengthen border security amid tensions with China. Today, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will dedicate 43 bridges to the people. These bridges have been built on the border of Ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will inaugurate the bridges in the states and union territories online.
These bridges built in 6 states are very important in terms of border security. Because seven of these bridges have been built in Ladakh, which will keep India ahead strategically. Because these bridges will facilitate the movement of troops across the border, will enable them to move weapons faster, and will also make it easier for troops to send rations and medical supplies.
Of the 43 bridges, 10 are in Kashmir. Two in Himachal Pradesh, eight each in Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh. Of the remaining eight, four have been made in Punjab and Sikkim. These 43 bridges have been created by the Border Road Organization.
The construction of this bridge has been completed at a time when China is watching our border. And because of this, India is working on a number of important projects on the border at lightning speed. India is building a new road to connect Ladakh with Darchar in Himachal Pradesh. This road will be built through the snow covered hills. The 290 km long road will play an important role in the movement of troops in Ladakh and in carrying weapons stockpiles. The road will also improve communication with the Kargil region.
