The world's first corona vaccine trial will begin this month in five countries, including India, with results expected by November.

Bangla Hunt Desk: Kirill Dimitriev, president of Russia's foreign direct investment fund, said on Monday that trials of Russia's corona vaccine “Sputnik 5” (sputnik v) would begin this month in several countries. India is one of these countries. Apart from India, the trial will be held in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the Philippines and Brazil.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced last month that Russian scientists had developed the world's first Covid-19 vaccine, Sputnik-5. She said one of her daughters had been given the first dose of the vaccine, which is quite effective and boosts the body's immune system.

Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated the Russian government and people for their success in preventing the spread of the corona virus. “I wish the Russian government and the Russian people success in controlling the Kovid-19 epidemic,” Rajnath Singh told a SCO meeting on Friday.

Vaccines are being discussed at various levels between Moscow and the Indian government. There are also issues like import and production of vaccines. According to media reports, Russia has shared with India ways to cooperate on the vaccine. This method is currently being researched by the Government of India.

The vaccine was developed by the Gamleya Research Institute in Moscow and the Russian Ministry of Defense. Russia is set to make the coronary vaccine Sputnik available to the general public this week. According to the established Lessent Journal, no side effects of this vaccine were observed in the initial trial.
