Bangla Hunt Desk: Swami Agnivesh, known as a social worker, passed away at the age of 70. A few days ago, he had a physical problem. He was later admitted to the Liver and Biliary Science Hospital in Delhi. He was undergoing treatment under the supervision of senior doctors. But his physical condition did not improve. He was placed on ventilator support after liver cirrhosis and multi-organ failure.

Swami Agnivesh, who has been embroiled in controversy for some time, formed a political party called Arya Sabha in 1960. In 1986, he was elected MLA from the Haryana Legislative Assembly. He was the Education Minister in the Haryana government. In 1971, Swami Agnivesh started an organization called Bandhuya Mukti Morcha. Swami Agnivesh took part in the anti-corruption movement in 2011 under the leadership of Anna Hazare. He also took part in the reality show Big Bash. He recently gained a reputation as a vocal critic of the BJP.
Born on September 21, 1939, Swami Agnivesh repeatedly made headlines for his controversial remarks. Although she took part in the Anna Hazare movement in 2011, she withdrew from the movement a few days later due to mental illness. He even managed to stay in the house of Bigg Boss for only three days.
