According to the information received, the incident took place on Thursday. When Ibrahimpatnam MLA Kishan Reddy and other TRS workers visited the flood-hit Medipalli area, locals threw shoes at them. Not only that, the agitated mob also vandalized the MLA's car. The video of this incident went viral on social media.

At a survey meeting chaired by Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao, officials said at least 50 people had died due to torrential rains and flash floods. Meanwhile, 11 people were reported dead in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area.
According to preliminary estimates, Chief Minister Rao said Wednesday's rains had caused flash floods in the low-lying areas. And due to this the state has lost more than 5 thousand crore rupees. “I have written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting assistance of Tk 1,350 crore for rescue and rehabilitation,” Rao said.
