Bangla Hunt Desk: IPL has started after ending the long wait. The IPL has just started, so far there have been two matches in the IPL. Delhi Capitals and Kings XI Punjab faced off in the second match of the IPL yesterday and this match has created a heated debate. Despite playing well yesterday, Kings XI Punjab lost due to umpire's wrong decision, everyone has complained.
In yesterday's match, umpire Nitin Menon decided one short against Punjab. As a result, one run could be deducted from Punjab's total. And as a result, Punjab lost. If that run had not been cut, Kings XI Punjab might have won the match before the scheduled over. But for the umpire's decision, Delhi Capitals defeated Kings XI Punjab in a super over and a bone-chilling match.
I don’t agree with the man of the match choice. The umpire who gave this short run should have been man of the match.
There was no short run. And that was the difference. #DCvKXIP pic.twitter.com/7u7KKJXCLb

During the match, Punjab opener Mayank Agarwal hit a ball in the 18th over of the innings and ran for two. After taking two runs, umpire Nitin Menon said Mayank's teammate Jordan's bat was not inside the crease. That is why one run was deducted from Punjab's total runs but later in the replay it was seen that Jordan's bat entered the crease properly i.e. one run was deducted from Punjab's total runs due to wrong decision of the umpire. As a result, Punjab has to lose this match. Preity Zinta, the owner of Kings XI Punjab, has also expressed outrage over the umpire's wrong decision.
