Strong meeting with India on construction of first Hindu temple in UAE, strengthening international friendship

This is being discussed vigorously between the UAE administration and the Indian administration. In this context, the UAE Foreign Minister met with representatives of the Temple Committee to discuss the construction of the temple in Abu Dhabi.

Recently, UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah also spoke to a representative of PAPAS. At the same time, the construction of the temple was also discussed, said the temple committee. At this juncture in the crisis of the Corona epidemic, global engagement will take the friendly and peace-building relationship between India and the UAE to a much higher level, the meeting said.

No iron material will be used in the temple built in Abu Dhabi. The temple will be built of heavy stone in keeping with the tradition of temple construction in India. The exterior of the temple will be made of 2250 tons of pink sandstone.

In 2016, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the temple via video conferencing from the Opera House in Dubai. About 3 million Indians live in the UAE. The meeting centered on the construction of this temple lasted for about an hour. The meeting expressed the interest of the authorities in the UAE to build a Hindu temple.

Not only the construction of temples, but also the business relations between the two countries have deepened in recent times. Supporting India against Pakistan's repeal of Article 370 in Kashmir, even threatening to repay the ১ 1 billion loan given to Pakistan for its aggressive stance against India. Today, India and the United Arab Emirates are building a pattern of friendship in the international arena.
