Samit Thackeray was arrested for mocking Uddhav Thackeray's son and was granted bail 21 days later

Banglahant Desk: Nagpur resident social media user Samit Thakkar was finally granted bail. The Supreme Court refused to grant bail to Samit Thackeray and asked him to go to the High Court. About 21 days later, the lower court granted bail to Magistrate Samit Thackeray.

Veteran lawyer Mahesh Jethmalani was fighting for Samit Thackeray's bail. Rahul Chitnis, a lawyer representing the Maharashtra government in the case, said he would not object when the bail application was filed in the lower court after all the interrogations against the accused.

The reason for saying ‘Baby Penguin’

The accused Samit Thackeray also called Aditya Thackeray a baby penguin and Uddhav Thackeray a modern day 'Aurangzeb' on social media. Nitin even made insulting remarks against Raut. Aditya Thackeray was ridiculed on social media for bringing penguins into the Mumbai environment.

Complaint against Samit Thackeray

Allegations were leveled against Samit Thackeray, who made sarcastic remarks against Thackeray's family on June 1 and 30 and made bad remarks about Raut on July 1. On July 2, two FIRs were filed against Samit Thackeray in Nagpur and Mumbai. He was also arrested on October 26.
