Trinamool MP Nusrat Jahan, director Srijit Mukherjee and another Trinamool MP Mohua Moitra are facing legal issues for disobeying the High Court order. Trinamool MP Nusrat Jahan, husband Nikhil Jain, director Srijit Mukherjee and his wife Rafiath Rashid Mithila and another Trinamool MP Mahua Maitra entered the puja mandapa of Suruchi Sangh in New Alipore on Ashtami.
In Corona, the High Court has designated each pujo pandal as a containment zone. It has been made clear that no one other than the pujo entrepreneur and members are allowed to enter the mandapa. Despite this, the fire of anger has spread in various quarters as Nusrat and Mahua have become public representatives.
Lawyer Sabyasachi Chattopadhyay is trying to send a legal notice against Nusrat, Srijit and Mahua. In his words, “Everyone should abide by the directions of the High Court, especially the people's representatives. We are keeping an eye on everyone. You can pay homage in Nusrat or Srijit Mandapa. If they become club members. But we have learned that Nusrat is not a resident of the area. ”
On the other hand, according to the spokesperson of the actress, Nusrat Jahan, a member of Suruchi Sangh for the last three years. Srijit also has membership. However, questions are being raised about Mithila, the Bangladeshi citizen, and Nikhil, the husband of Nusrat. Trinamool MP Mahua Maitra was also not seen to open his mouth on the issue.
Incidentally, before the start of the pujo, keeping in mind the Corona situation, each pujo pandal was designated as a containment zone by the High Court. It was instructed that no one except the entrepreneur, members and drummers of the Pujo Committee could enter the mandapa. 45 people were allowed to enter the big pujo mandapa and 15 people were allowed to enter the small pujo mandapa at the same time.
