Mamata Banerjee leaves Brahmastra ahead of Ekushey polls, makes big announcement on teacher recruitment


BanglaHunt Desk: Before the upcoming elections, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has given a list of jobs. The Chief Minister announced new employment opportunities in Bengal. Three more new battalions will be formed in the police force to recruit teachers and fill the vacancies created by the Corona operation. The people of the state are happy before Diwali.

Recruitment of new teachers will start

In a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee gave the good news of re-appointment in two cases. At the end of the meeting, he told reporters, ‘Corona was stuck in a lot of work in the situation and teacher recruitment was also suspended for several years. Corona will overcome the situation and start recruiting teachers again. The recruitment process for 18,000 TET graduates will be started from next December. All the rules and regulations will be informed by the education department later.

The Chief Minister further said, "At present, there are about 20,000 TET candidates in the state. The first recruitment process will be started with them. Two and a half lakh applications have already been submitted for next year. This test will be offline.

Three battalions of police will also be formed

Apart from appointing teachers to vacant posts, the Chief Minister also emphasized on the additional security of the people of the state. He said, ‘Three new battalions are being formed by the state police. For the security of Jangalmahal, Narayani Battalion of Kochbihar and Gorkha Battalion are being formed for the security of the hills. About 3,000 new recruits will be assigned to these three battalions. However, the entire recruitment process is the responsibility of the state police chiefs.
