KKR's Virat Joy Kohli's path to play-offs becomes difficult after losing to RCB

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challenge Bangalore (RCB) faced each other in an important match of IPL yesterday. KKR captain Eoin Morgan decided to bat first after winning the toss. With the exception of Andre Russell, who was out of form, KKR made their debut in the XI. Sunil Narine was also not in the team. And the absence of these two brought danger to the KKR camp. KKRK lost to RCB.

KKR's top order was shattered when they went down to bat first, losing three wickets for just three runs. KKR's waist was broken at the beginning due to the pressure of RCB bowlers. Shubhaman Gill 1, Rahul Tripathi 1, Nitish Rana 0, Tom Banton 10, Dinesh Karthik returned with 4 runs then KKR's score was only 32 runs. KKR made 84 off Tenetun, relying on 30 off 34 balls by skipper Eoin Morgan.

In Twenty20 cricket, it is already understood that a match cannot be won with just 84 runs. RCB won the match by 8 wickets with 39 balls in hand. Gurkirat Mann's unbeaten 21 and captain Virat Kohli's unbeaten 18 helped RCB win the match. The win made the road to the playoffs smoother for RCB, while the rate made it harder for KKR to reach the playoffs.
