Bangla Hunt Desk: The people of Gilgit-Baltistan want to be part of India. Ahmed Ayub Mirza, a social activist who has been fighting against Pakistan's illegal occupation of Gilgit-Baltistan, has called on the United Nations Human Rights Council to include the Pakistani-occupied part of Gilgit-Baltistan with India.
Speaking at the 45th session of the Human Rights Council, Ayub Mirza said that Pakistan has mesmerized the whole world by telling false stories. But the real complete opposite. The people of Pakistan are now on the verge of independence. The Pakistani government has ordered the closure of schools in Gilgit-Baltistan to keep people in the area in the dark and to prevent teachers from being paid.
Ayub Mirza said that the youth of Gilgit-Baltistan are being punished for 80 to 90 years for opposing the looting of our natural resources. Our people are striving for independence and they want to be part of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
“There has been no development in many parts of Gilgit-Baltistan in the last few years,” he said. Blood comes out instead of water through the water tap. Opposition to Pakistan is inhumane. ”
A few days ago a young man from Gilgit-Baltistan came up in the headlines. The young man, Tanvir Ahmed, unfurled the Pakistani flag from the Mirpur area of Gilgit-Baltistan, and was then taken prisoner by Pakistani police and thrown into a death cell. From Gilgit-Baltistan, stories of Pakistani military atrocities keep coming up, but the Pakistani government does not open its mouth about their atrocities. And that is why this area, which has been under Pakistan's control for decades, wants to be included in India.
