Doctor sells child of poor rickshaw driver for inhumanity of private hospital

After the couple could not deposit Rs 35,000 after delivery at a private hospital, the doctor auctioned off their newborn. It is alleged that the doctor forcibly took fingerprints from them and sold the baby. On the other hand, even if the mother cries a thousand times, her husband cannot do anything. The family members complained that the doctor said that if they could not pay the hospital bill, they would have to pay for the baby.

The couple was then forcibly taken with fingerprints on paper. And the doctor took the newborn out of the hospital with 75 thousand rupees. It is heard that the doctor sold the child for one lakh rupees. After paying the arrears of Tk 35,000 to the hospital, the remaining Tk 75,000 was handed over to the couple and they were expelled from the hospital.

Shiv Narayan, a resident of Shambhu Nagar, Agra, is a rickshaw puller by profession. Shiv Narayan said he left home four months ago due to debt. On August 24, his wife, Babita, was in labor. He was admitted to the nearby JP Hospital. Babita gives birth to a son. At the time of discharge on August 25, the hospital handed over a bill of Rs 35,000. The rickshaw driver was unable to pay so much money. He had only 500 rupees.

The doctor said that if he could not pay the hospital fee, he would have to pay the child. The couple was then forced to tip on a piece of paper. They were taken out of the hospital with 75,000 rupees in their hands. As soon as the case came to light, a team from the UP health department searched the hospital and sealed the hospital to find Garbari. Police are investigating the rest of the incident.
