Bangla Hunt Desk: The Modi government has called an all-party meeting in Ladakh today amid ongoing disputes with China. According to media reports, the meeting is likely to be held from 5 pm today, with leaders of many political parties in attendance. The meeting follows a statement by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in the Lok Sabha on the ongoing dispute with China.
Statements have been made by the government in the parliamentary session, but the opposition has demanded detailed practice and information on the entire dispute. The Congress has also opposed this in the Lok Sabha. This time the government has insisted on calling a meeting for practice. When the monsoon session was called, the central government announced the cancellation of the question period. Following the government's decision, all opposition parties, including the Congress and the Trinamool Congress, attacked the government and accused it of withholding information about China.
In his statement in the Lok Sabha, Rajnath Singh said the situation in Ladakh was worrisome and China was constantly trying to change the situation in the LAC. Rajnath Singh said with all the information from April till now, we are trying to resolve this dispute through talks. But if the situation changes, then our army is also ready.
