Efforts are being made to find them under the supervision of the Chief Minister. Earlier, Rahul and Biren Khanna, along with Ragini Dwivedi, were arrested on drug charges. From then on, the crime branch started keeping an eye on Sanjana. On Tuesday morning, the team of the crime branch of the Bangalore police appeared at the house of the actress in Indira Nagar. After searching the house, Sanjana was taken to the branch headquarters. After questioning there, he was arrested according to the rules of the court's arrest warrant. Bangalore police arrested 6 people with drugs.
Like Bollywood, the Kannada industry is also abuzz with drugs. According to Bangalore police sources, the arrested Biren Khanna was supplying drugs to the heavyweight party of the industry. He was arrested from Delhi.
On the other hand, Riya Chakraborty was arrested on Tuesday afternoon. The NCB arrested him on charges of being involved in a drug ring. Riya was taken for a medical test at 4 pm. It is learned that his corona report has come negative.
It was first heard that the Narcotics Control Bureau would appeal to the court to keep the four accused in their custody. News that they will be further interrogated. But NCB officials later said Riya did not need to be kept in their custody. The court has ordered to keep Riya in jail till September 21.
So far, the NCB has arrested nine people in drug cases. Among them are Riya Chakraborty, Shauvik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda, Deepesh Sawant, Kaizan Ibrahim, Zayed Viltara, Abbas Lakhani, Karan Aurora, Abdul Basit Parihar. Cases have been filed against them under sections 20, 26 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
